To Brisbane’s Singer/Songwriters…
Hook Line and Sync is looking for well produced, well crafted music to present to music supervisors for film and TV productions. There no costs involved with splits 70% (Artist) 30% (Hook, Line and Sync) on any placements. For music to be considered please email daniela@hooklineandsync.com with links (please don’t send mp3’s).

Hi all, we will now meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month until the end of this year (excluding December) and we are in the process of putting some guidelines and formats in place. If you have something of value to contribute before our next meeting PLEASE leave a comment here on our blogspot….

Next Meeting 8th August
Finally confirmed, our next meet is Saturday August 8th from 12noon to 2pm at Ellaways Auditorium Underwood – our monthly get togethers will continue on the 2nd Saturday of each month in August, September, October and November….
Just bring along your instrument, pen and paper and any written or partially written song….
Also we are offering a ‘Critique Time’ if you are willing to sing a song for our members and have them comment in a helpful, friendly and constructive way…
Performance Opportunities in the Logan Area —- we are currently in negotiations with local council and commerce people to get some jams, busking and live gigs happening for BSC members…. stay tuned…..

Hi Melinda
Just letting you know that I have been able to break free from my use of keyboard as a lead style instrument, to more of a rhythm instrument. It’s hard work and lots of fun. This change was made possible as a result of some help from fellow songwriters sharing at he Songwriters group nights at Ellaways. I asked…and I received! Thank you. Looking forward to more and sharing where this is taking me. Try and avoid Mon & Tues nights if you can. (Choir followed by drumming lesson).
